Doors

If your home is like mine and maybe you have kids, dogs, etc?  All the wear and tear of life can take a beating on your doors.  Recently I decided to try to "Redoux" our office door instead of replacing it.  Here is what I did: 

Yikes, someone took a pen or something to this!

Uhh....a certain little boy wanted in to the office when it was locked, can it be fixed? 

Not only are the marks gone, it got a chic mettalic finish makeover.  Now it looks like a custom fit door instead of the mass produced, child enhanced door it was.





At the bottom, I cut a piece of Luon to fit the space where a kick plate would go.  Painetd it gold, attached with some small screws, used the same paint to hide the screws, and voila!  A new door that looks like I had it made especially for this office.  Now I can be proud to keep the door shut!
