No it's not stain, it's a glaze, and other true life glaze stories

Here is a lovely little Oak Side Table.  You may even have one of these in your home, or see it often.  The details are cute, but the grain and stain is just a bit well, shall we say, 1980ish?  Not that I have anything against Oak, but it has it's place, and it's place doesn't belong on this cute table.  You don't want to paint it, but you don't want that Oak look anymore?  What to do?  Well......remember our old friend Glaze?  Glaze is the new magical makeover of the Redoux world.  Glaze can be mixed in a variety of colors, layered to perfection.  See Glaze cabinet here.  Glaze can age something to look like a true Antique, See Buffets and such, give it a new life, to look like it just walked off the show room floor, or even, gasp, trick us into thinking White Laminate is Cherry Wood.  Bathroom overhaul .

Here is la table before:   Lovely, but sort of plainish......

And here we are after.  Four layers of glaze, some tricks of colorant, and we have a lovely new Cherry Stained side table.  Tutorials on this process will be posted in March, keep your eyes out for it, you won't want to miss it!!!

Think of the possibilities, this glaze process can be applied to any type of surface, Oak, Particle Board, even White Laminate.
