You brought home what from the Dumpster???

Yes, it is Wednesday, time to show off my find of the week.  I spied this last week on one of  my early morning dumpster runs.  I was just about to give up and go home.....then I spotted this out of the corner of my eye.

It was laying next to the same dumpster where I met up with (click for full story)  le friendly dumpster dweller, you know, the time when I pulled up to a dumpster in the dark of dawn and a man popped out of it and waved hello to me.....

Not into making friends at 6:45 a.m, and especially not with men who may have spent the night in le dumpster.

I digress.....Now I have a system.  In order to alert the dumpster natives (should there be any around), I give a polite honk.  If no one appears, I proceed to haul in the booty.

No idea what this is, but I do know it looks tres cool.  It is huge, it measures about 9 feet tall by three feet wide.  I think I might try to cut it down the middle, paint the wire black, and add funky clothes pins to make it a fun message and photo board.

Here is what it might look like cut in half:

Quel est votre opinion??? Let me know what you would do with it (my husband would probably say throw it back....)

  2. The item you brought home from the dumpster - framed fencing - I would use it in a garden as a trellis for vine type plants - peas, squash, cucumbers, morning glories. My husband would agree with your husband "throw it back". Men just don't understand! ;)

    1. Alethea, thank you so much for telling me what it was! I would have gone on never knowing, and that is a great idea to put it in my garden.

  4. Karen,

Put it above your lanai and hang candles in mason jars from it, then invite me over for some lime guac and fish tacos:)

  5. I was thinking the same as you, use it with clips for a photo board but I love shellyandrade's idea! Can't wait to see what you come up with! And my husband, would put it out for the trash as soon as my back was turned!

  6. Dude in Dumpster looks uncomfortably like our son (aged a few years).
    Premonition?
This whole dumpster thing does not seem fair. We take, but we do not give...
