Now, onto the project
Last week I did a different kind of painting project...Instead of my usual paints, I tried out poster paints and puffy pens
My oldest is running for a class office next year. I helped in the Campaign process, LOTS of posters. I did the lettering, she and the little sister did the painting. Mr. Red chipped in with some art of his own, red of course.
They decorated our floors for about a week, until they could be hung up.
And posters are just not enough these days to win an office, you have to have the appropriate attire to go with it. T-shirts, with a campaign slogan.
She has some very sweet friends who came over for the afternoon and we had a "painting party". They will be worn with pride.
Hi There, great to find your blog, just got a note from the gals at the Picket Fence and Stuff and Nonsense, my Friday party gal pals, about your new party. I'll be linking up to yours too, I'd love for you to add me to your list! Have fun!! Debra
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Go Alison B ;)
ReplyDeleteAustin ran for prez and his slogan was "Don't Fork Around ~ Vote Austin Fox"
We had all the posters outlined with plastic forks. hehe.
Guess it worked ;) He won.
That brought back memories! I think making the posters and stickers was my favorite part of any school election. Oh the fun I would have now...I mean the fun the kids would have!
