Oh la vache!
And a GIVEAWAY!!
Before we get started, I wanted to announce my giveaway. I hit 400 followers last week, and every time I hit another 100, I love to celebrate with a giveaway.
This one is from Ramsign.
They make those beautiful Enamel Numbered signs you see on stately and gorgeous homes. They have graciously offered to give one away to one of my lucky followers. Here are "le details"
The winner can choose any house number sign (not name signs or address plaques) with 1-5 digits of any size and design.
This giveaway is open to all followers WORLDWIDE, free shipping included in giveaway.
Here are "LE RULES". You must be a follower of REDOUX and leave a comment, that you are an existing follower, or just signed up. For a 2nd chance to win, "Like" Redoux on Facebook" and come back here to leave a comment, or let me know if you already "liked" me. For a third chance to win, "Like" Ramsign on Facebook. Ramsign on Facebook
and come back here to let me know you "Liked" them on FB.
Good luck! I will announce the winner on Monday, so be sure to come back for my Monday Furniture Reveal and The WINNER REVEAL.
You bloggers came out in droves for Link Party #43. I had so much fun going through all the talent you linked up with moi.
I am so excited to share some of " mes préférés" with you!
I was asked by a client recently to come up with a seating solution for her kitchen, that wouldn't involve built in construction. Then, like a gift, this landed in my link party! From Blah 2 Beautiful came this amazing reading nook. She built this with....CINDER BLOCKS!! You have to check out the post as she gives all the great details so you can make one at home.
Next up, oh how I LOVE to look at a gorgeous kitchen. This one is absolutely stunning. I had a hard time believing someone actually lived there! I think she had me at those amazing glass pendant lights. From Eclectically Vintage
I love everything Karin at "Art is Beauty" does, but I especially love this little table with the bike graphic. Karin is a master at transferring images, and she has great tutorials on her blog of how to do just this.
Fiona from Lilyfield Life transformed this blah tea trolley, into something you would be proud to display and serve your best china on. I love the stencil she used on. So very Moi!
Being the bonafide Francophile, I adore French Country Cottage. There is always something fun to look at, and great finishes on the work she shows. If you haven't been over to this blog, then check this out and look around and all the yummy French goodness while you are there. It is like a little mini trip to France.
I love lamps. In fact I have enough to light an entire other home here in my stock. I don't know what holds me back from "redouxing" them. This little "Number" from From Generation to Generation may be the one to get me moving. It has been a popular item around the blogosphere this week.
I LOVE seeing family photos displayed, esp. on a staircase. I cannot seem to learn to do this right, I had an entire display, but my kids kept knocking them down as they ran up and down the stairs. Alison at Stuff and Nonsense
I know this flag is a popular finish on furniture, but I just can't get enough of it...yet. I love this little piece from Shabby Loco
and she shares an awesome tutorial on how to recreate this.
I am seeing some amazing things to do with little pots, just in time for Spring, which is around the corner. This is from the always talented Viv from "The V Spot"
She has a detailed how to tutorial on this post too. I think I am going to expand into trying out some clay, this is so cute, why would you spend the money on one of these expensive pots when Viv shows you exactly how to do this.
I have saved my all time favorite "le fini"! I want to rush out and find a piece like this just so I can do this paint treatment. It is so fun. Mama with a Dash of DIY Drama
shows us step by step how she achieved this look.
And now.....your turn! Show me what fabulous things you have redone this week.
