Berkeley Inspiration and other good things

I am in the middle of a lot of projects, I have lots of "befores".  This is a tricky time, finishing up all the good stuff and wanting to share it with everyone.

My sister and my adorable college aged neice were here for a few days.  I got to take a little break from work.  Monday, we had a day of playing tourist, we went here:

UC Berkeley, what a beautiful campus and a beautiful walk we had around it......We also experienced the color of Berkeley, with friendly people on Telegraph Ave, such as this "Peace Vendor"

We continued on with the Berkeley experience, down to the uber cool 4th street area and visited my favorite:

Anthropologie

I love this store for inspiration.  Recently, I snagged a dresser at a rare visit to a garage sale.  I spend most of my time doing work for hire, so it felt so fun to pick up something for myself.  When I saw these knobs, I knew exactly what this dresser needed: 

I am really into a Black and White look these days.  Maybe it has something to do with what I ate here:

It looked something like this: 

And yes, I ate the whole thing, down the Hot Caramel sauce on the side.

Oh yes, and I picked up a very Lovely Postcard of France.  I didn't really go, but my postcard made me feel like I did!
