Cheap Flower Vase Ideas - Takeout Plastic Containers?

Here in Norcal we are having a very lovely Spring, and my Roses are SOOOO happy.  I know those of you in colder weather will have blooms soon, so here are some ideas to inspire you for when flowers start popping. 

I have one or two lovely Chrystal Vases for Flowers, but I truly love to see them displayed in more casual ways, as this suits my tastes and home. 

I save ALL my plastic food containers, mostly for paint mixing, but I had the idea that they might hold flowers too.  A quick coat of Primer and a few coats of Silver Spray Paint......

I have a little collection of Silver odds and Ends on my buffet, so I love how it blends in. 

Here are my favorite pitchers, they aren't just for pouring liquids!

 

 

How about saving a French Oil container?  Wash well if you do......
