Friday Reoux Features and Link up Party

WOW, each week the links just get better and better!  I am so inspired to try out some the things you ladies are sharing. Thank you for sharing your talents each week with me.  It looks like the chalk paint movement isn't slowing down at all and it is so fun to see all the many ways it is being used. 

To begin with we have Kerrie, from  Boxers, Cleats and Me

This is what she had to say about it:

"I thought it was just a regular chest or small buffet.  I shouldn't have judged a book by it's cover.  The top "drawer" folds down and the "lid" folds up.  Inside is a bar.  Places for glasses, wine bottles, etc. even key holes to keep it locked. I kept the original hardware because it was in such good shape. I haven't seen a piece like this before. "

What a neat find Kerrie, she even named this piece after a favorite teacher of hers.  Beautiful work, love the striping detail.

Next up is a very creative, and very handy lady "Kristie" from For the Love of Wood

Here is the before, the front is not actually real cabinet doors, it is a actually a "Fauxbinet".  A fake cabinet with doors acting as nothing more than beauty.

Kerri completely revamped it by taking the front off, cutting each panel apart and actually creating doors where none were before. Kerri is one creative lady, and quite handy too. 

The last project, I was so thrilled to see, I have lots of mirrors around here and I love bulletin boards, Stylish Once Again
