Wow, it may only be January 6th, but it was a crazy week already. My kids are still out of school, family visiting, and much fun was had by all. I am ready for some order in the house again, as all will be normal on Monday.
Thank goodness I can escape to bloggy land and see all the amazing creations you have shared with me! I had such a hard time narrowing it down, but here are my picks for 2011! (I try to spread the love, some projects were so amazing, but I just can't get them all up here)
To start with, I am seeing Orange in my future. I love Cassie's work at Primitive and Proper, this Orange dresser was one of my favorites. Such a fun pop of color:
Next up Vintage Shabby Chicks
admits she has a Chalk Paint Addiction, I can relate. She even did her stairs, and I think they look amazing.
I love everything that comes from Freddy and Petunia and this Hall Tree is especially wonderful because she made it as a complete surprise for her sister. I would love someone to surprise me with this!
Next up, this is the most clever use I have seen of the old Entertainment Centers, that we can't seem to find new uses for. The Lytton Life did just that. She made this old bulky thing into a play kitchen, customized to her specs. It is amazingly adorable. I would love to come over and play in that kitchen!
Last up we have Mandy from Project Queen who did this beautiful table for her daughter who is in college. I don't remember having furniture that looked half this good! Also, the seats were rush, and Mandy replaced them with wood, then painted. This is a gorgeous project.
It was an amazing year for creativity, and my prediction is more chalk paint in more uses! Can't wait to see what you share this week.
Now it is your turn!
