Et maintenant le mieux:
I have to start with the St. Patricks Day chair from Shelly A Little Bit o Shizzle
Doesn't this chair just make you smile? Shelly used to make all kinds of fun custom pieces like this. I think she outgrew them and moved on to "serious" furniture, but I still love this all the same.
This next piece is made after my own heart. This is from Jill at "I Know the Plans I Have For You
She made this lamp out of odds and ends at the hardware store!! Those little rolled flowers along the bottom? Paint Chips!!!
Do love furniture that started out life as one thing and completely morphed into something else? Then you will love this piece from the extremely talented Kristy from "4 The Love of Wood"
This lovely table started out life from different pieces of furniture. Those legs are from a set of bed posts, the top from a desk, the end caps from an old project and the front, from a dresser she did years ago for her nephew. You have to check out the post to believe it!
I love little writing desks, and I love them even more if there is something cute inside the drawers. Take a look at this lovely project from Simply Chic Treasures
I have been using book pages to line things too, and for the backs of frames and chalkboards. Such a lovely vintage touch.
This lovely dining set is from Doodle Bug. That lovely rustic wood top? It is a faux finish. Doesn't that look gorgeous? You need to see the entire post. Doodle Bug gives a complete and easy to follow tutorial on her blog on how you can achieve this look too.
I love little surprises, and this sweet little chair gave me a wonderful surprise with the fabric that Pamela from "My Front Porch to Yours" used to give this old chair a beautiful update. So lovely!
I fell in love with the shape of this sweet little table the moment I saw it, but I love it even more with that adorable stencil and great paint job from The Consignor Designer
There is even a really wonderful tutorial at her post on exactly how to do this yourself!
This absolutely gorgeous headboard is from Cre8tivedesigns
And finally! (I know Rachel was featured last week, but I was so wowed by this table I just had to share it)
Van Hook and Company took this ordinary Farm Style table and topped it with Zinc. I so love this look and have read many different tutorials on how to achieve it. This is the best and most detailed tutorial I have seen. It is very doable for a DIYer! Also, aren't those chairs gorgeous? Painted Red with chalk paint. I love the color combo:

I'm such a dork; I read all about your blog move paying special attention so I wouldn't miss anything then I scrolled down before the page finished loading and never even noticed you had featured my Saint Patty's Day Chair - um durr! I was too busy ooh-ing and ah-ing over all the cool tables. Even though you had mentioned it, I spaced until Karin at Art if Beauty told me. Time to slooooow down... Thanx again!!!
